This Week Was Sick!



Yo what's up guys! This week was sick!

I had the opportunity to give some people priesthood blessings in Spanish, it was a really cool experience, because, for the first time, giving a blessing in Spanish went just as well as times I've given them in English. It wasnt anything to do with me or my abilities, but it was a very sacred experience and helped me to see the joy of seeking to be a tool in the hand of the Lord. 

Francisco's baptism went great! He got baptized so that was a super awesome moment for him and the whole ward. We were a little stressed out when the person who was supposed to baptize him hadn't shown up and the baptism was supposed to start at 6 and it was 6:15... BUT, as they say, salió mal pero estamos bien. 

We've been street contacting a lot, we've met some very interesting people as always, and we've seen some really changed hearts because of the gospel! 

General conference was sweet too! I'm sure you guys have heard a lot about it. I just want to leave my testimony that I know the Prophet knows the course of the world. He knows what will happen in the coming years. Follow him!

Baptism Date!

We've been grinding super hard here in Lake Charles! We put Nain on date for April 17th which is super sweet! AND we got 2 new people this past week. 1 was a person I came into contact with through facebook, and the other was a cool story. Were not allowed to street contact or proselyte, but we can knock on grey dots doors(area book equivalent to a not interested or too busy person). So we went to go have a lesson with one of our investigators, but the lesson fell through, and we had a lesson with another investigator like 50 minutes after. So we couldn't go home, but we didn't know what to do with the time, so I looked up the nearest grey dots and said we'd go there. The grey dot was a person named Maria who requested a Book of Mormon drop off, but after that she would just hang the phone up on us when we tried to ask if she got it or read it or anything. Anyways, we go knock on this person's door, and someone named Juan Carlo answers and says he's never heard ...

Houston Temple

Sorry I have been super busy today...and everyday.  There is so much things to be in charge of all the time haha!  We get to go to the temple tomorrow.  We are the first zone to go.  I freaking love God haha!
