1 Nefi 8:10-12
"10 Y sucedió que vi un árbol cuyo fruto era deseable para hacer a uno feliz.
11 Y aconteció que me adelanté y comí de su fruto; y percibí que era de lo más dulce, superior a todo cuanto yo había probado antes. Sí, y vi que su fruto era blanco, y excedía a toda blancura que yo jamás hubiera visto.
12 Y al comer de su fruto, mi alma se llenó de un gozo inmenso; por lo que deseé que participara también de él mi familia, pues sabía que su fruto era preferible a todos los demás."
El profeta Lehi habla sobre el fruto del árbol de la vida, que el vio en una visión. Esta fruta es una representación del amor que Jesucristo tiene para nosotros.
Una cosa que me encanta sobre estos versículos es que después de Lehi ha probado el fruto, y ha sentido el amor de Jesucristo, él quiere que su familia coman el fruto.
Después de hemos conocido Jesucristo, y sabemos que Él existe, tenemos la responsabilidad para ayudar otras personas para llegar a conocer Cristo. Es requisito que hagamos las cosas para ser representantes de nuestro Redentor, y que amemos nuestro prójimo como Él.
Como podemos ayudar nuestro prójimo para sentir el amor de Cristo?
1 Nephi 8:10-12“10 And it came to pass that I saw a tree whose fruit was desirable to make one happy.11 And it came to pass that I went ahead and did eat of its fruit; and I perceive that it was of the sweetest, superior to all that I had ever tasted before. Yes, and I saw that its fruit was white, and it exceeded any whiteness I had ever seen.12 And when I ate its fruit, my soul was filled with immense joy; therefore I desired that my family also to participate in it, for I knew that its fruit was preferable to all the others. "Prophet Lehi talks about the fruit of the tree of life, which he saw in a vision. This fruit is a representation of the love that Jesus Christ has for us.One thing I love about these verses is that after Lehi has tasted the fruit, and felt the love of Jesus Christ, he wants his family to eat the fruit.After we have come to know Jesus Christ, and know that He exists, we have a responsibility to help other people come to know Christ. It is required that we do things to be representatives of our Redeemer, and to love our neighbor as He does.How can we help our neighbor to feel the love of Christ?
