Valentine Packages

I have more candy than I can eat with my parents and grandparents Valentine packages!  I do not eat much candy anymore because it makes me feel sluggish so it will all be shared.  Plus a lot of missionaries get fat here and I am NOT going to get fat!

In regards to how many missionaries are in our mission and reassignments: Our mission had about 125 missionaries before reassignment.  Now it is over 250!  The majority have come from missionaries serving in Brazil and more speak Portuguese.  A couple of missionaries have been sent back to their original assignments.  one went back to Sweden and a couple have dates to head back to Chile.  When everyone goes back to their original assignment we are going to be super busy because we will have such big areas again.

The people here do not care about wearing masks.  They like to talk about how they have Covid, masks and democrats haha! When they find out I'm from California they say "don't take your politics here" haha!

Baptism Date!

We've been grinding super hard here in Lake Charles! We put Nain on date for April 17th which is super sweet! AND we got 2 new people this past week. 1 was a person I came into contact with through facebook, and the other was a cool story. Were not allowed to street contact or proselyte, but we can knock on grey dots doors(area book equivalent to a not interested or too busy person). So we went to go have a lesson with one of our investigators, but the lesson fell through, and we had a lesson with another investigator like 50 minutes after. So we couldn't go home, but we didn't know what to do with the time, so I looked up the nearest grey dots and said we'd go there. The grey dot was a person named Maria who requested a Book of Mormon drop off, but after that she would just hang the phone up on us when we tried to ask if she got it or read it or anything. Anyways, we go knock on this person's door, and someone named Juan Carlo answers and says he's never heard ...

Sorry I have been super busy today...and everyday.  There is so much things to be in charge of all the time haha!  We get to go to the temple tomorrow.  We are the first zone to go.  I freaking love God haha!
