Obedience Brings Blessings

We just started an english connect program, and we ran ads for it this week so we've been messaging a lot of people 24/7. We somehow got into contact with a lady from Peru, so we called her and taught her the first lesson which was dope. A lot of it was just the gift of tongues for me Hahaha mtc really came in clutch during the lesson, Elder Rivera really picked up my slack too. She was really interested in being baptized because she had met with the missionaries before. We got her address and were trying to figure out who to refer her to, so Rivera called a kid he trained in Guatemala who's in Peru now. It turns out, Rivera's kid got transferred there a week ago and she's in that area so that was super super cool! It was my first time teaching lesson 1 in Spanish. Other than that we've just been in contact with our 1 investigator who left the church 5 years ago and that's all. Rivera is no longer on crutches which is sweet, were just chugging along in Louisiana trying to figure out how the Lord wants us to progress his work! We had interviews with the president this week. I'll definitely be here for at least 2 more transfers which is super dope! I really think this area is going to blossom after english connect because we'll have a lot more people to contact!
