Arrived in Houston

Trevor arrived in Houston Monday, November 30th around 6:30 p.m. with 27 other new missionaries!  They spent the first night in the mission home where he was able to meet President and Sister Larkin for about three minutes "super cool dude, loves the military".  He has been assigned to serve in Lake Charles, Louisiana which is three hours east of the mission home and the furthest eastern part on their mission boundaries.  He and his companion will be opening a new Spanish branch.  This area was destroyed by an hurricane in July and it still has not recovered so there will also be lots of clean up. His companion, Elder Rivera,  is from Puerto Rico so he is a native spanish speaker. His words "pretty dope tho imma have to grind Spanish!"  They have a car and in about a month (once they find an apartment) one other companionship will join them.  One of those elders is Elder Ludtke who was in Trevor's district.  They were really good friends in the MTC so he says he is "pumped"!

Hopefully pictures will be coming soon...he has no wifi so he has not been able to send any.
